ADU Standard Plans

Save both time and money with our customizable ADU Standard Plans. These plans come with pre-reviewed architectural and structural designs. Additional materials, such as a site plan, Title 24 (energy code) analysis, and roof truss calculations, may be required.

We offer three detached ADU floorplans in three distinct architectural styles, along with options for converting 1- or 2-car garages.

How It Works

1. Pick a Plan: Choose from the five available ADU Standard Plans.
2. Complete Plans: Fill out the project information and select your desired architectural and patio styles. Guidance documents are available for both ADU Standard Plans and ADU Garage Conversion Plans.
3. Prepare Supplemental Materials: Use the ADU Standard Plan Checklist to gather the necessary site-specific materials. Consult a Building Engineer at 949-432-4095 to confirm required materials, which may need professional architectural or engineering input.
4. Apply for Permit: We will submit your plans.
